R&D Architects designed six 1800 square foot residences for three consecutive 30’X90’ lots. Each unit is free-standing, however, all the units’ entrances open onto a garden courtyard bordered by Nancy Monk’s three-story murals.  Floor plans feature exceptional flow, ambient contemporary living spaces and private outdoor areas. The need for privacy and natural light in a vertical building space was met with sky lights, light wells, glass floors and obscured glass doors.
