This single family residence was designed by Joseph D. Murphy as his own private residence in Venice, CA. The home was situated on a triangular lot with a footprint to reflect the shape of the lot. The residence created an open-plan living space with a rooftop patio. A small, flexible unit was also designed and built on the same lot. The residence, originally built in 1984, received an exterior rejuvenation in 1999. |
